3 Forms of Business Support Your Small Business Can’t Do Without

Posted by admin in outsourcing services

Your small business is making money, but you’re beginning to understand the stresses felt by all business owners. Late paying clients, increasing overhead costs, paperwork and an inbox that seems never-ending, concern about future work and your current clients’ satisfaction… the list is long and growing.

No business owner, no matter the size of the business, can do it all for themselves as they try to grow their business. It becomes a matter of so much to do in so little time that it can become difficult to reap the benefits of being your own boss. It can become a slippery slope to decide to do it all yourself if you want your business to grow. There are three forms of business support that your business simply cannot do without.

Number 1

Your business cannot grow if none of your potential clients know what you have to offer. You could have the best products, the most outstanding services and amazing prices but if you are not marketing your business, no one will know and your business will fail. With the overwhelming increase in web marketing use these days, implementing a web marketing plan can be an inexpensive and powerful way to get the word out about your business. Web marketing is one business support you have to have in place to guarantee continued business.

Number 2

Keeping track of your income and expenses ensures that your business will avoid overpayment of taxes or fines when it comes time to tally up at the end of the year. Regular bookkeeping is necessary but time consuming. There are several companies that provide per diem bookkeepers at reasonable prices to keep your columns straight all year long.

Number 3

Technology is required by just about every business, in one form or another, to keep the company running. Computers, servers, printers, software not to mention websites or databases all need regular maintenance to ensure your data is protected and your equipment is up to date and functioning. Many IT technicians offer hourly rates for monthly monitoring to keep your technology safe with this final “have to have it” business support.

5 Questions To Ask Before Hiring A Coach

Posted by admin in outsourcing services

More and more companies are turning to external coaching and coaching programs to develop their executives and next level leaders. With increasing demands on business, and the need for executive development programs growing, the field of coaching is fast becoming a billion dollar industry.

Like many new and growing industries, coaching is suffering from its share of growing pains. Low barrier to entry, abundance of coaching titles and lack of regulation are creating natural questions for those inside and outside of the field.

So how do you know if you need or could benefit from a coach? How should you go about finding a coach? How do you know if spending your time and hard earned money on a coach will yield a return on investment?

Before your invest your time and money in working with a coach do your homework. Hiring a coach, is just like hiring any other professional. You need to know what you want and what you expect to gain from the investment. Use these questions as a guide to determine if coaching is right for you, how to go about hiring the right coach, and how to get the most from your coaching relationship.

1. What is coaching – it is important, before you invest in a coach, that you are very clear as to what coaching is and what is isn’t. A coach is different from a mentor, a trainer or a therapist. You hire a coach to help you gain clarity and focus about what you want and desire to accomplish. A coach supports you in your effort to determine your goals, creates a structured path for achieving them, and provides accountability and motivation to ensure you reach or surpass those goals. A coach can help you figure out what you want – what you need to do to get it – and then helps you stay focused on the journey to achieving it.

2. Are you coachable? Coaching is a growing business because it works. However, while a coach can provide amazing insight, increased self awareness, and help you make tremendous progress, he or she can’t do that unless you want to be coached. You have to be sure you have the desire to change, and the commitment to do the work. It is not easy, as it requires changing habits, moving through obstacles and at times doing things that are uncomfortable. Coaching is not for everyone, and unfortunately the one thing a coach can not do for you is the actual work to help you achieve your goals!

3. Why do you want a coach? Be very clear about why you are looking to hire a coach. Is it to help you increase performance in your current position? Do you ultimately want to change careers? Perhaps you need help with work life balance? Maybe it is just to figure out what it is you do want. Coaches can help and support you in a variety of ways, and the better information you can provide them at the beginning of the relationship, the more benefit you will receive from the relationship.

4. What do you expect from a coaching relationship? You need to define your expectations and express them right up front. Coaching styles, coaching experience and coaching personalities are very different, and getting the right match for you is critical to your success. Coaching is about trust and communication; setting expectations up front will build trust early on and open the door for meaningful communication.

5. How will you measure your return on investment? Measuring return on investment is not easy with coaching as it is more values based than numbers based. However, you need to require your coach to determine a baseline and a starting point with you. Hiring a coach that begins with an assessment process is critical in your efforts to make progress and receive quality feedback. Understanding where you are at the beginning of the relationship will help you establish milestones so you ensure that the time you invest in coaching yields a high return.

Follow these guidelines and ask yourself these questions, before you commit to a coaching program or a coach. Getting prepared to be coached and hiring the right coach will ensure you yield a high rate of return on your investment.

Plastic Shelving Units and Lightweight Storage Solutions for the Home

Posted by admin in outsourcing services

There is not a single person in the world, at one time or another, who has not dealt with the problem of cheaply made shelving giving way under the weight of whatever you were trying to organise, or sagging to the point of embarrassment. And it never fails that we do not know where to turn to find the answers for our problem; but since the invention of online shopping, our options have improved a hundred-fold compared to consumers and customers twenty years ago.

Options available to us today give us the quality and standards we need for creating an organized space we will be proud to show our friends and family.

When we think of buying plastic shelving, again the idea makes us cringe and think of those earlier days when plastic shelving left little to be desired. However, letting our fingers do the clicking and searching internet shops, we discover that plastic shelving has come a long way in design, sturdiness and quality. This brings a sigh of relief because not only is it available in high standards, but the cost is amazingly low. Modernizations of plastic are far advanced beyond the thin and flimsy shelving of our parent’s generation and the options provided through shelving companies gives us an idea of what we can expect.

Plastic shelving in these sizes: 1200h x 800w x 400d; ventiated in 1430h x 900w x 450d; 1550h x 800w x 400d; in 4 and 5 shelf units. These are easy to assemble, with no tools required and suitable for use in the home, garage or garden shed for lightweight storage – each shelf holding up to 35kg. These are quick to build and easy to dismantle for transportation to another location.

A range of low and tall plastic cupboards that are a great value and extremely practical assortment of wipe clean plastic. These are easy to build, as well, and can be used along with the plastic shelving. Here you can buy in bulk and save, and the options vary from low plastic cupboard with two shelves, tall plastic cupboard with four shelves, extra wide and tall plastic cupboard with four shelves, to a single door cabinet for that tight, hard-to-fit area.

The above shelving and cupboards can be used for your workshop, as well, along with other unique features offered by this online internet shelving company. Double-sided plastic bin storage units are the epitome of organisation, and include 94 picking bins (64 small and 30 large) that hook onto the trolley with clips.

Once you determine your specific needs for plastic shelving, now come the challenges of creating a space that flows and lends to you wanting to work in the area. The key with any type of shelving, cupboard or organizing unit is simplicity and keeping an open mind to an uncluttered feel.

For a small space, you might want to start with one plastic shelving bay with four shelves and build on that, if you even need more. For a larger space, such as a workshop or garage and depending on the area available, you might want to purchase plastic units that connect, perhaps three to begin with, along with the double-sided plastic bin storage units for items, such as nails, bolts, screws, washers, small tools, etc.

The more organised you can be with your space and the more you utilise these well-built and sturdy plastic shelving units, the more you are going to want to find other places to utilise them, they can even be utilized as garage or workshop storage. For the savvy professional organiser who creates organized areas for clients, the options available through shelving companies are second-to-none, and the lightweight versatility of these plastic units are easy to transport and install into any client’s home or business.

Do Away With Closet Clutter Through A Little Organization

Posted by admin in outsourcing services

One of the best housekeeping tips one can find useful is how to keep your own closet organized. As years go by, the closet is the one place that gets filled with so many things that rummaging through it would seem like such a daunting task.

To get things in order and begin organizing, you first must empty the closet and dispose of the things you no longer need. It may even be a good time to gather things you may want to sell at a garage sale or give away. Though disposing of items can be pretty difficult, it is a must if you want to relieve your home of clutter.

For those looking to modify or change their cabinets, home depots sell closet systems that allow you to customize it based on your specific needs. There are also closet organizers that have been pre-designed for those with simple storage needs. To keep your things in order and your home clutter-free, here are some points you will need to remember to help you organize your closet.

To keep your pairs of shoes in place and easy to find, shoe racks are a convenient piece to have. The best kinds are those that are not slanted too high or flat racks that have two or more shelves. There are also caddies that can house as many as twelve pairs of shoes.

Drawer organizers made of plastic containers or dividers can keep smaller items in place. Installation is not required as these are merely inserted into the drawers.

Visit your coat closet. If there are items that you have hardly used, consider disposing of them. You will need to maximize the space you have and aside from remodeling, this is the next best way to create more space. Have enough coat hangers for each piece of clothing you plan to leave in there. Hangers also come in space saving designs to help you make the most of your closet space. They are built to carry several pieces of clothing. You may also want to install a hat rack for your hats, scarves, gloves and mittens.

Additional shelves are a good closet organizer. For items you rarely use, installing a shelf on the higher part of a room or closet is a good idea to keep those items out of the way until they are needed.

Another way to organize a closet is according to season. Items found at the front most part of the closet are those items that are used for the current season. Once the season is over, these items can be moved to the back of the closet to make room for the things that will be used for the next period.

Though it may seem overwhelming at first, organizing a closet can be simple and quite liberating.

WHAT PREDICTABLE SUCCESS IS, AND WHY YOU SHOULD CARE

Posted by admin in outsourcing services

Predictable Success is a state reachable by any group – an organization, business, division, department, project or team in which they will consistently (and with relative ease) achieve their common goals.

Those who manage groups want to get to Predictable Success for a simple reason: it’s easier to manage a group when you and they know how to be successful. Just like it is easier to manage a football team that already knows how to win, a group that knows how to succeed has a substantial competitive advantage over those that don’t.

Managing when in any state other than Predictable Success is a trial of nerves: you may or may not be successful (you can’t tell with any certainty in advance), and even when you are is successful, it’s hard to tell why, or to capture that success so that it can be repeated.

The percentage of organizations that reach Predictable Success is small. Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE, once said “When you put your foot on the gas in this company, the car goes forward.” While that sounds like a vacuous truism, the leaders of most organizations can’t say any such thing. For them, when they step on the gas pedal, the car may or may not go forward, and it may or may not go in the direction they expected or desired – and even when the car does move forward for a time, they live with the constant, subconscious fear that it might stop again at any moment.

For many owners and managers each day, experimentation, hope and determination meets the unknown and the unexpected, and with luck, as a result, the car might go forward. And if doesn’t go forward today, maybe it will go forward tomorrow. Perhaps it will move in the right direction for more than a short period of time. Who knows?

If it is so much easier to run an organization in Predictable Success, why do so few businesses or teams ever get there?

The reason is a bizarre, but simple one: Nobody ever told us such a thing existed. We were never told about “predictable” success – that success could be learned and replicated, understood and scaled, nurtured and sustained. Sure, we were told about cash flow, human resources, people management, vendor selection, and a thousand other nuggets of information. But we were never shown how all of it could (and should) add up to more than fleeting or momentary success. How, if we took the right steps, we could develop success that can be replicated over time and in any environment. Put simply: we were given the tools for success, and an expectation of success, but no dependable way of combining the two to consistently achieve success.

Because of this missing link, no dependable connection between the tools we have and the results we want, success is patchy: sometimes stuff works, sometimes it doesn’t; sometimes the car goes forward, sometimes it doesn’t. As a result we have developed a collective belief system that throbs along in the background as we work, telling us that success will just happen eventually, if we do the right things (whatever they are); that while success is there, it is locked up in a vault waiting for us to crack the code, and if we spend each day trying different combinations on the lock, one day, if we, are lucky or prescient, we, will guess right, the tumblers will fall, the safe door will swing open and success will be ours.

Part of that underlying belief system is true. There is a code that will unlock success, predictably and consistently, in any organization. The part that is untrue is that you have to guess at what that code is, or that you have to experiment every day to get it right. The code for Predictable Success is sitting in plain view, and is available to anyone who wants to pick it up and use it. You don’t need to experiment day in, day out, to find out how to make your organization predictably successful. Organizations have been in existence for long enough, and in enough numbers, that the patterns of organizational success and failure are as clear as the night sky, if you know where to look.

Reliance Timeout Host to Kara 4 Kids Story Telling Workshop

Posted by admin in outsourcing services

Kids are the wonders of god. Who would not fall in love with these lovable and innocent mischief-makers! And when Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Retail’s subsidiary Reliance Timeout got an opportunity to welcome an army of toddlers home, how could they defer.
Reliance Timeout at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon utilized the dying art of live storytelling with the help of a team from Kara 4 Kids, Gurgaon’s premier extended preschool and daycare centre. The Kara team of early years’ practitioners narrated a meaningful tale regarding respect diversity; a grown up concept, presented in an age appropriate format.
Learning can take place in the most unexpected ways and keeping this in mind, the jungle scene was set, the audience was in place and the animals were chomping at the bit off stage; time for the performance to begin.
For the team from Kara 4 Kids it was also an amazing experience to have the attention of so many innocent moldable minds. And so commenced “The Jungle Rumble”, a tale of friendship and cooperation.
The response which the team received was tremendous. The children were simply bowled over as Kara’s trained teachers stepped onto the TimeOut stage in full costume to introduce Zeba the Zebra; The Elephant; Jiffy the Giraffe and the Cheeky Monkey.
To further reinforce these values, children were provided with the chance to explore their creativity through a selection of multi-sensory learning opportunities, including making masks, puppets and more. These were further complemented with a range of at-home extension activities, including cold cooking Jungle Energy Bars and making a Jungle Rainstick, thus completing Kara’s customized approach to early childhood teaching.
As regards feedback from the parents, the smile on their faces said it all, as mobile phones and cameras were whipped out to record every moment of their child’s experience, albeit interacting with Kara’s teachers as they revisited the concepts taught by making a giraffe puppet and an elephant mask, or carrying home their Kara good-bag full of their creative handiwork.
